Who We Are

Klassy Kats of Butts County is a state licensed, all-volunteer, nonprofit cat rescue located in Jackson, Georgia (Butts County). We do not have our own facility, but rather use foster homes to care for felines in our rescue.  Additionally Klassy Kats has an adoptable barn kitty program (a.k.a. Klassy Kats Kritter Katchers) which fully vets working cats for rodent control that are not adoptable as lap kitties, or able to return to their original location.

 

Our all-volunteer organization does not have a veterinarian on staff, however we will gladly provide information on the many great low-cost and convenient veterinarian's clinics available in the Butts County area that are available for spaying, neutering, and feline medical needs.  Our team additionally assists with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) along with hosting low cost spay and neuter events as we are able.

 Please keep Klassy Kats in mind when looking for a valuable way to support your community.  We have many volunteer and fostering opportunities, and would love for you to join our cat family.  Our organization runs solely with the support of donations, and is not supported by any government entity.  If you are unable to foster or volunteer, please consider making a tax-deductible financial contribution to Klassy Kats.

Our Mission:

Klassy Kats is a no-kill cat rescue organization  dedicated to providing a healthy and safe environment for felines that have nowhere left to turn in Butts County and have been owner-released. Felines that come into our rescue are fully vetted prior to finding loving and permanent homes through our adoption process.

Our Vision:

We are committed to reducing the overpopulation of cats in the Butts County" kommunity" by using a pro-active approach of promoting low-cost spay and neuter programs, along with educating and assisting the community with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) projects.

Our Goal:

Karing for the kommunity by karing for the kitties of Butts County.  Helping our "kommunity" one kitty at a time....

Barn Kitty Program

We are beyond grateful for the sponsorship of our adoption events by local businesses around the Butts County community.  Their support by allowing us to utilize their spaces for adoption events helps us to find loving homes for our sweet adoptable kitties!  Please support your local small businesses that in turn also help our community!  
In addition to our local kommunity support, we are proud to be part of the Fix Georgia Pets family.  Our rescue is excited to be the recipient of grant funds through their amazing program.  The Fix Georgia Pets organization is supported by donors throughout Georgia.  Please donate to this wonderful organization that gives to so many rescue partners around Georgia.  Also, by purchasing your specialized Georgia plate you can support your local rescues such as Klassy Kats of Butts County as well.
